Lawrence Lee Wallace

Lawrence Lee Wallace is a Chicago born filmmaker and author with more than fifteen years behind the camera as a director, writer, producer, and editor. Through his company, Deep Production Studios, he has built a body of work in horror and character-driven drama — among them the feature *Tobias: Dark Hallway*, the dark comedy *Pieces of David*, a Black Harvest Film Festival selection and Black Excellence Award nominee, and the animated horror feature *To Your Last Death*, on which he served as co-executive producer. *The Smell of Blood* is his first novel, and the opening book of the series. It is a werewolf story that is less interested in the monster than in the family holding the door shut. Former U.S. Army and a graduate of Full Sail University.
