DeMarcus Cousins is an American professional basketball player known for his dominant presence at the center position. Born on August 13, 1990, in Mobile, Alabama, he played college basketball at the University of Kentucky before being selected fifth overall in the 2010 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings. A four-time NBA All-Star, Cousins has also played for teams including the New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, and Denver Nuggets. Known for his scoring ability, rebounding, and physical style of play, Cousins has been one of the most skilled big men of his era.
