Mamuka Tkeshelashvili was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1973. He has worked as a Gaffer for more than 20 years, but his passion has always been animation. In 2015, his first animation, SUNSET, premiered at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival - Out-Of-Competition program. Fishermen and The Girl is his second short animation, which also entered 2018 an entry at the Annecy Film Festival - Short Films Perspectives.
