Saida Edwards

Saida Edwards is a multidisciplinary artist based in San Francisco, CA and a recent graduate from San Francisco State University with a degree in Cinema. When she is not writing and directing personal projects, she navigates between supporting roles across different departments, including Production Designer, Wardrobe Stylist, and Assistant Camera. She commits herself to projects that exhibit authenticity, vulnerability, and empathy, and she seeks out stories that unearth the complexity of marginalized identities. She plans to use her growing knowledge of the film industry to establish her own production company in the future, so that she can support and create a space for artists of marginalized identities to tell the stories that the media often leaves untouched.
