João Pedro Mariano

Nominated for the 2025 Grande Otelo Award for Best Actor in a Feature Film for his performance in Baby, João Pedro Mariano was named Breakthrough of the Year for his work in the film, which premiered at the Critics’ Week of the Cannes Film Festival. His performance earned him Best Actor awards at the Rio Festival and Fest Aruanda, as well as the Best Performance award at Mix Brasil. João is part of the main cast of Tremembé, a Prime Video series slated to premiere in the second half of 2025. He has also performed in numerous theatrical productions that toured throughout Brazil. He completed his acting training at SP Escola de Teatro and is a co-founder of the artist collective A.Bordar, which seeks to lend its voices, bodies, and emotions to victims of violence and abuse, empowering them to tell their stories.
