Big Irv

Big Irv writes, directs and produces used films. He studied film production at Depaul University, founded the production house Big Irv’s Used Films and has worked professionally as an independent artist since he was 19. In 2025 he was awarded the Depaul Undergraduate Production Grant. He is driven by high concept narratives, antagonistically esoteric aesthetics, and self-constructed paranoia. He is heavily influenced by genre films and their cultural influence. Irv lives in Chicago, working part-time at a movie theater so he can watch movies for free.
