Alhassan Romel (b. 2001, Cairo) is an Egyptian filmmaker whose work explores themes of love, memory, and identity through a poetic visual language. His short film SOLO: A Love Story (2025) marks his latest narrative work, following the documentaries Raised by Women and The Accordion Wizard, both officially selected at the Alexandria Short Film Festival.
