Matheus Nogueira

Born in Curitiba in 1996, Matheus grew up surrounded by VHS tapes, video rental stores, and movie screenings that never seemed to be enough. Long before he understood what it meant to make films, he had already discovered what it meant to love them. He witnessed the transformation of the way we watch movies — from VHS to streaming, through the disappearance of video rental stores — always driven by the same obsession: to watch, discover, and live cinema. Today, as CEO of Spatz Audiovisual, he has found behind the camera a way to give back to cinema everything it has given him. Through filmmaking, he has turned his passion into his work, striving to tell stories with the same feeling that made him fall in love with the seventh art from the very first film.
