Hazen will come face to face with dangerous desert giants, battle against deadly quicksand and rely on an unusual drink to stay hydrated-cow's blood.

Extreme Plains

Hazen Audel takes on extreme survival challenges in the world's great plains - where exposure to the elements and lack of food and water make staying alive a constant battle. Hazen ventures under tons of arctic sea ice to gather vital food from the sea floor, track down big game through miles of the thorn-covered Kalahari plains, and herd hundreds of reindeer over Norway's endless frozen tundra.
