A married couple are told by a friend about a magical monkey's paw which grants the holder three wishes. The friend has the paw and has had his three wishes, so the couple asks him for the wish-granter. He agrees but warns them that considerable danger is involved.
Ralph wilson can't stand the fact that he's getting older. He pays a visit to Dr. Valentine, a hypnotist who promises Ralph that if he'll follow his instructions he'll soon be a young man again.
An artist idly sketches a face he sees in his imagination. Then one day he actually sees that face; it belongs to a man carving a tombstone - with tha artists name on it.
