Their Marriage

Famous and unmarried lawyer Kotaro Harada is hospitalized after a health scare. Struck by loneliness, he greets a woman he encounters in an elevator.

Kotaro is troubled by what he learned about Nella's past. Later, he is suddenly asked to step in as a substitute host for a TV show he appears on.

Kotaro processes conflicting emotions as new details from the past come to light. He joins Nella, Leo, Ko and Kan on an important family trip.

Kotaro settles back into single life during his separation from Nella. One night, he returns home and finds Inspector Kurokawa waiting for him.

When Kan suddenly collapses, Nella turns to Kurokawa for help. Later, Kan and Nella reveal to Kotaro what happened 15 years earlier.

Nella visits the police station with Kotaro to share her recent recollections of the incident. Kan makes a surprising suggestion on Nella’s birthday.

Ko leaves a letter for his family and confesses to Kurokawa. At the request of Kan and Nella, Kotaro meets with Ko and offers to be his lawyer.

Leo is taken to the hospital after the fire in his room. A worried Nella tells Kotaro she may have been the one who actually killed Fuse after all.

One month after Kotaro and Nella's divorce, Ko’s trial comes to an end. Later, a flustered Kan calls Kotaro and says that Nella has gone missing.
