As tryouts for the Comets begin, Olive and Heath feel insecure as dancers in cheer. Meanwhile, Levi and Ashton’s odd behavior makes Ruby question if they are mad at her.

With the mat list going up today, Layla is anxious that she won’t be on it and that Jordan and Olive will. Kenzie struggles to finalize the team, and Cammy helps Melody taunt their rivals.

Worried the Comets aren’t ready, Kenzie runs a conditioning day. A sticky note game fuels Jordan’s competitiveness, while Ruby plans a surprise for Levi and Ashton.

Layla and Melody campaign against each other for cheer captain. Meanwhile, Ashton starts a side hustle to make some extra cash, and Heath debates returning to dance.

Jordan and Ruby butt heads over how to run a cheer birthday party, Melody hopes training Jax will gain the team’s goodwill, and Cammy and Kenzie hunt for a loose animal.

During choreo camp, Olive tries to minimize tensions with Layla. Meanwhile, Kenzie tries to keep a secret from Melody, and Heath tries to one-up Jax.

As Kenzie changes up the routine, Layla tries to prove she belongs on-mat as a flyer. A new stunt makes Olive nervous, and Ruby struggles to reign in her crush on Heath.

Sensing something off, Ruby spies on Melody. Levi faces his first test as cheer captain. Meanwhile, desperate for an advantage over Olive, Layla turns to Angel for help.

The Comets are physically ready to run their first full-out, but emotions run high as Jax realizes he has feelings for Olive. Meanwhile, Ruby struggles to keep Melody’s plan a secret.

Kenzie tries to fix the team’s tensions with a sleepover, Olive worries people are treating her differently after the full out, and Melody realises she has to win the team over.

Melody comes down with a bad case of the twisties! Heath and Jax try to exercise their feelings away, while Angel works to earn her spot on the mat.

Levi proves to Kenzie that his relationship won’t be a distraction. Kenzie works to shoo an overbearing parent from the gym. Ruby tries to see if Heath still has a girlfriend.

Kenzie adjusts to the new assistant coach, Denise. Ruby worries about the growing tensions between Levi and Ashton, and Layla feels pressure from Denise to perform.

While trying to make new friends, Cammy accidentally starts a rumour. With Damien’s help, Layla rediscovers herself, and Melody tries to catch a cold that is circulating through the gym.

Levi tries to keep the team calm for Social Media Day after Denise announces big changes. Jordan practices her cheer smile, and Melody works on an improved full-out.

The team try to get their full-out to time, but Angel struggles. Heath worries Jax is ashamed of their friendship, and Layla gets upset with Damian.

On a rest and relaxation day, a new tension strains Layla and Jordan’s friendship. Ashton debates telling Levi his doubts, and Kenzie worries about her future as coach.

At Cheermageddon, Melody questions her place on the team. Jax and Heath interview a cheerleader that seeds doubt in their routine, and Angel pitches the gym to investors.
