Visit to a gold mine The young people are working this week in the gold mines of Badakessa in Ethiopia. They are literally and figuratively thrown in at the deep end and confronted with the harsh reality of life in the gold mine. Under the extreme conditions under which the local workers also produce this luxury product every day, they work very hard. With the money they earn, they have to survive among the locals. A real culture shock for the six who are used to privacy, luxury and comfort.
