The 10th installment in a series that thoroughly examines the truth behind “unsolved cases” that have shocked the entire nation. This episode delves into the “Shimoyama Incident,” known as “the greatest mystery of the Occupation era.” In July 1949, Sadonori Shimoyama, President of the Japanese National Railways, suddenly disappeared and was found in a gruesome state after being struck by a train. There were many unusual aspects surrounding the body, and police investigators were divided between the “suicide theory” and the “homicide theory.” Although each side conducted its own investigation, the joint investigation headquarters was disbanded, and the case remained unsolved.
