Zarah: Wild Years

In 1973, the well-known feminist Zarah Wolf returns to Hamburg and takes over the position of deputy editor-in-chief of the male-dominated magazine Relevant.

Maximum excitement: The new cover causes fierce discussions, and sparks fly in the newsroom after Zarah's solo action. Zarah is dismissed without notice, but the tide turns.

Editor-in-Chief Kerckow is beside himself: Zarah lied to him. She is no longer allowed to write a major story for Relevant. But Zarah refuses to be dismissed and immediately strikes back.

Zarah's interview with Bella Hausmann is a huge success. However, her mother's death is getting to her. To stay focused, she throws herself into a report on domestic violence.

Zarah gets a visitor: Her old friend Jutta Belitz, a wanted RAF terrorist, is injured and desperately needs a place to hide. Zarah disapproves of all forms of violence, but...

Zarah's report on prostitution cannot be published, leaving the editorial team without a cover story. Everyone works together under high pressure on a solution.
