Stand-up comedians Richardson and Beaumont play exaggerated versions of themselves as viewers get a glimpse into their home and work lives, surrounded by their celebrity friends and their Hebden Bridge neighbours.

To celebrate the Richardsons' move to Hebden Bridge, Lucy decides to stage a huge birthday party for their daughter, Elsie. Jon is initially against the party, but is finally convinced to take part by a family friend.

Jon is given from career advice from his comedy hero, Jack Dee. Meanwhile, Lucy signs Jon up to be the celebrity judge at the World Dock Pudding Competition in Hebden Bridge.

Lucy goes on a wild night out in London with TV personality Alan Carr, while back in Hebden Bridge, Jon spends the night with his best friend, Matt Forde.

Jon and Lucy are thrilled when they are finally invited to the showbiz event of the year, the Jonathan Ross Halloween party.

Chris Kamara asks Jon to take part in a Leeds United fundraiser for deprived children. While he's away Lucy tries to enrol Elsie in a private school against Jon's wishes.

Lucy's sitcom is ready for a BBC run-through with Johnny Vegas as one of its stars. Jon hates the script, but everyone else disagrees. Jon's not bothered, as his Pixar film role is almost in the bag.
